Going to university

Before we started Zanzibar Schools Project, university was not even a dream for young people in Unguja Ukuu. Thanks to the involvement of the project, young people are growing in confidence and ambition. We have 3 boys and 2 girls who have completed studies in tourism, business management and local government. 2025 sees 8 in full time education. 2 young women are now in Dar Es Salam studying dentistry and 1 young man is studying Engineering. Back in Zanzibar there are 5 students studying marketing, tourism, marine biology, accounting and health education. Congratulations to all on your studies!
